+ dry needling Physiotherapy
Trigger points are tense bands in muscle, which often result in pain. This pain and tightness can be alleviated by inserting a fine, sterile acupuncture needle into the trigger point. Not as daunting as it seems, many of our clients swear by it (quite literally!) for releasing those stubborn, tight muscles. Dry needling can also help to increase the circulation to a muscle and promotes a natural opioid release within the body. Dry needling is often used to treat muscle spasms, tennis elbow, muscle strains, patella-femoral (knee) pain, lower back pain, postural-based pain and more.
+ Chronic Pain Management
Long-standing pain can be difficult to manage, and evidence promotes a multi-modal approach. This means we promote a holistic treatment plan, from hands on treatment, education and advice, and rehabilitative exercise and therapy. If required we have established relationships with medical and other allied health professionals who we can refer to if extra assistance or specialist opinion is needed. We deal with complex, long standing cases and conditions such as:
- Chronic fatigue
- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Ankylosing Spondylitis

Our team can offer assessment and advice into your work or home desk set-up and posture. Considering how often most spend in this setting, ergonomic set-up is extremely important to prevent postural-based aches and pains. Ergonomics also includes squatting, bending and lifting technique and form.
+ Motor Vehicle and Worker’s Compensation Claims
We look after both Motor Vehicle Accident and Worker’s compensation clients, who need hands on treatment or and individualized rehabilitation program. These clients must have both a GP’s letter and insurance details (including claim number and case manager details) upon their initial assessment. Let us help you get back on your feet and return to work!
