Make your Health a Priority!
Women’s Health Week commences on the 3rd September. The aim of Women’s Health week is to prioritize Women’s health. Most of us can get so busy looking after others that we forget to look after ourselves. This national event commenced in 2013 by Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. The organisation encourages the promotion of women’s health in Australia and has many free resources and supports local events. She has a passion for anything to do with the pelvis as well as pregnancy and the postnatal period! She recently co-wrote and co-taught a course to educate Accredited Exercise Physiologists on “Exercise during Pregnancy and the Postnatal Period”.
